Our mission is simple yet profound: to teach the fundamentals of football in a safe and supportive environment, while instilling in our participants the values of good sportsmanship, leadership, dedication, and teamwork. We strive to develop well-rounded young men and women who not only excel on the field but also understand the importance of education, character, and community involvement.
History and Inspiration
In our 13th year serving the community for football and our inaugural year for cheer, Point Loma Youth Football and Cheer was founded to unite families and communities across all age ranges in Point Loma and surrounding areas. Inspired by the rich tradition of Point Loma High School and the values it instills in its students, our organization aims to carry forward this legacy of excellence and camaraderie.

Programs and Participants
We cater to young athletes and cheerleaders aged 5 to 14, offering a range of programs designed to develop their skills, foster their passion for the sport, and build lifelong friendships. From organized clinics and practices to exhilarating games and competitions, our programs provide a holistic sports experience that goes beyond the field.
Safety and Well-being
The safety and well-being of our participants are paramount. We uphold the highest standards of safety by conducting livescan background checks for all adults, providing concussion training for coaches, and ensuring that our programs adhere to USA football guidelines.
Achievements and Milestones
Throughout our journey, we have celebrated numerous achievements and milestones, including our 2016 Division II Junior Pee Wee National Championship, 2017 Division II Pee Wee National Runner-up title, and 2021 10U Division Local Championship. These accomplishments stand as a testament to the dedication and hard work of our athletes, coaches, and volunteers.
